Yes, it looks to be a digital PS2 Archives release of the Sega Ages 2500 collection. Several other Ages titles have already been released on the Japanese PSN.
Just got this on JPN PSN. It's good for the price ¥1500 I believe.
There are plenty of other good shooters on JP PSN, DoDonPachi,
DonPachi, Thunder Force V: Perfect System, and Zanac X Zanac just to name a few.

The ps2 version has a 240p option, though.
This is likely just a re-release of the PS2 version (PS2 Classics) so it will have the same 240p option... Unless I'm missing something?
Tempted to get this, it's a game that will very definitely tell me how much PS2 emulator input lag bothers me on a PS3. It was definitely amongst my five favorite PS2 releases.

The PS3 does not support 240p output. Any software running at this resolution is internally upscaled by the hardware (see all PS1 software). The lowest supported resolution by the PS3 is 480i (and we've had reports from various members here that trying to run PS2 games in 480p mode on a PS3 has mixed results).
