Neo Geo Zupapa Question

I recently got a hold of a Zupapa MVS cart. I have wanted this game for awhile, and I thought I got a good deal. But, it is the only cart I have that I cannot my stick to work with. The coin button works, but that is the only one that does.

I tried it with 2 different mobo's, the large 1 slot and the newer and sleeker 1 slot, and the stick does not with either. How can the cart have any effect on the stick? The mobo works fine as do all the other carts I tried with it. Any ideas?

That's really weird. I bought a new MVS kit of the game about 2 years ago and have had no trouble running it on my AES through a Phantom1 (no joystick detection errors).

I got a new kit a while ago too. My 2P side can play a game, but not continue. 1P side works as it should. Maybe they slacked of on the production quality.

I know the game was not even one that was supposed to make it to the market, so the production quality slipping probably was and is an issue. Anyway, thanks the responses and I'll continue to stare at it puzzled later tonight.

Awesome little game though. One of my favorite on MVS.
