This thing here: http://www2.tky.3web.ne.jp/~yosshin/my_ ... ortem.html

I reckon it would be an interesting read.

I wonder if any X68000 disk images of early versions are circulating online? Skimming a google translated version I didn't find any mention of any versions other than 0.10, 1.0, and 1.1(Windows port?) on the page but it says 0.10 was sold at Comiket so it was released publicly.

Just sent Yoshida an email. I did that before because of something else and he was nice, so chances are he will reply.

You can figure out some of it with Google Translate, but a lot of it is pretty confusing. I hope someone does translate eventually

Yeah, I can get the gist with google translate and my limited knowledge of Japanese, but a translation would help a lot, which is why I asked.

Just an update: working on this now, and it will be ready for the next shmuplations update. I took a break from translating to go on a month long walk from SF to LA, after which I got caught up in some job stuff, but now I'm back in action. I also recently learned of patreon and will be trying to get something going there soon... it would be awesome to have a crowdfunding platform that allows me to do game translations (mostly) full-time. Very excited about that.

This ChoRenSha68k writeup is very cool btw. I think aspiring shmup developers here will especially enjoy reading his thought process.
