Can you be hit by those revenge bullets each boss spits out upon death? if so that's bullshit, what with the stage clear screen obstructing your view n'all.

you can be hit by them, but it's just a simple tap dodge to avoid them. The bullets upon form shifts are so much worse. Not sure how many points you get from grazing in this, but it's a few free points.

Chaos Phoenixma is right but sometimes a simple tap dodge isn't enough. I have been hit by the 1st loop's Last Boss final death spread twice. It all depends if you are unlucky to kill him when he's close to you. You can never rest easy with this chaos mode. From the moment you press start, you have to be on your guard.

Wish I could handle that mode, but anything involving the suicide bullets just destroys me. I'd be lucky to make it to stage 3 on that mode. I'll stick to Normal course and Harahara mode.

Got almost nothing worthwhile out of the stuff I tried today. Some 2-2 practice that almost never went well, 1 NMNB 2-2 boss, but I still need to work on my dodging and I guess my strat for that stage especially the postmidboss stuff(I've accepted that I will always have to use a bomb on 2-2 midboss because I'm pretty sure those are solid walls), then a few credits that didn't even get past 1-4 because I completely failed on the game for some reason.

I just called it quits for the day after a run where I didn't die at all till the stage 3 boss, had 3 full bombs in stock for it, died with all 3 of those in stock, several chain breaks, game over on stage 4 boss. I'm not even sure what max bomb stock is in Muchi Muchi Pork, but I would never intentionally lose a life in the game unless I'm at max life stock, am close to an extend, and I have less than 2 full bombs because it's pointless to me then.

Well I think its good that you're playing some Harahara Mode, because it'll pay dividends when you go back down to Arcade Mode ver1.01. (Hard mode training always makes you better at the Default).

Yeah, the suicide bullets are even worse if you don't have a route lol. At least I can seal a few of them here.

Also I'm pretty sure that the hitboxes for the power ups are bigger, so try to avoid the sprite entirely. It's also a lot easier to move into the ring from the front, since they are always drifting downward. If you do it enough, eventually you'll just get a feel for how much you need to tap to stay in the ring, I can do it relatively consistently though I still miss it from time to time.

You're welcome. Just keep on going for the rings until you master it, there's really no reason to ever not go for a ring unless you're incredibly desperate or something (no bomb and no shield and enemies everywhere). Also on the subject of practice, the stage select in the secret menu is great for practicing later stages.
