CAVE Shooting Collection Kan X360
CAVE is pulling a Milestone (or pulling a Triangle Service?) and flogging the shooting collection again, this time renamed as "Kan" with SDOJ included.
http://www.cave.co.jp/gameonline/Xbox36 ... ction-kan/
http://www.amazon.co.jp//dp/B00JB5HUQC/
What's included?
- All games from the original collection, plus SDOJ.
- The DLC disk.
- The superplay DVDs.
What's not included?
- Soundtracks - this was limited to the first print run of the earlier collection. Confirmed by CAVE official website.
How can I order?
It's an amazon.co.jp exclusive and they don't ship outside of Japan.
Moreover it's a limit of 1 per customer.
One option is to use a package forwarding service like http://www.tenso.com/en/. I've used them without much problem.
They provide you with a Japanese address and you order directly from amazon.co.jp and ship to their address.
Another option mentioned is https://shoppingmalljapan.com/. I have not used them but other have good experiences.
Importers:
Nin-nin: http://www.nin-nin-game.com/lang-en/jap ... 60-en.html
If there are any other good avenues feel free to PM me so I can update the OP.

Re: CAVE Shooting Collection Kan X360
I'm surprised they still have that much unsold stock left lying around after the last collection. I wonder how many hardcore collectors will be inclined to triple dip.

Re: CAVE Shooting Collection Kan X360
So this time there's no DLC disc nor OSTs? :/ I'm glad that they are doing this though, I might pick this up for the superplays if the price is right.
Now, if they would only print more copies of the Mushi matsuri PCB... I would give them all of my money.

I missed out the first time.
Are there any issues with ordering from Japanese Amazon from outside Japan?

NCSX stocked the first Cave collection. They ship from New York and have excellent customer service.

You can use a proxy buying service to order items from Amazon Japan. They're expensive, aggravating to deal with, and aren't worth the trouble if you can buy the item from another source without using one.

I almost want to buy this just to resell. The original version was going double price on Amazon Japan from day one.

As someone asked before does the amazon description say something about ost and/or dlc disc??
It should be nice that they packed also nin nin jump and their adventure game with the first DDP

Re: CAVE Shooting Collection Kan X360
I...I don't know how to feel about this. I started importing shmups less than a year ago and it took me months to track down all Cave releases at a reasonable price. Only last month I had completed my "region-free collection" and now they pull this shit. I can either keep my 360 and not give a fuck or "trade" it for a JP unit and get this (plus finally get the chance to play Mushi HD and DOJBLEX). Problem is, other games like Raiden Fighters Aces JP are impossible to find these days correct? I guess the bottom line is: if it doesn't include OSTs or superplays then I shall pass.

^DOJBLEX and Ketsui weren't published by Cave, so they won't be included in the collection.

Re: CAVE Shooting Collection Kan X360
For those wondering what the word "Kan" means in the title, I looked it up:
"To swindle (a victim) by first winning his or her confidence; dupe.
n.
A swindle.
adj.
Of, relating to, or involving a swindle or fraud."

Re: CAVE Shooting Collection Kan X360
I missed out on the previous collection, so this is kind of tempting assuming demand for those DVD things is high. I've got about half of the games in that collection already, but I could always sell off my extra copies along with those DVDs I don't care about. I'd want it to include all the DLC again though, since I only have the BL one for Futari.

Probably the same person hoarding all those DDP: Campaign versions.
