Many thanks to whoever's been uploading my stuff (personal captures and other stuff like the Bakraid one). I haven't got time to upload at the moment, but Iam working on new footage (Raiden Fighters trilogy, and Raiden DX Arcade Diff. ^_^) so I'll drop up some new stuff onto SuperPlay at some point.

Not sure if the tracker is needed, now that we're got a great resource like SuperPlay...

As an admin and donator at ikaruga.co.uk, I just want to back up fl0w's remarks, which I agree with. I like download managers, I use them myself, and anyone who only uses one connection per file is OK in my book.

However, idiots who use download "accelerators" will NOT, NOT, NOT ever get faster downloads from superplay.co.uk or ikaruga.co.uk. I would explain why, but most people who use download "accelerators" have no understanding of how they "work," so it's pointless to explain. Please do not use them. Ever. Even in the cases where they do speed up your download, it's abusive and childish.

Cool site. I've got some more stuff to potentially upload if someone with (much) faster connection could upload them for me (I'd send them to you via mail, which would be faster and more reliable than me uploading them myself). They are:

GW2 - clear/kart/63.4 quadrillion pts. (170mb)
ZG2 - loop clear/hokum/2.8m (70mb)
better quality MM vids that are already uploaded (8-15mb instead of 3-8)
GWG stages (like MM - 42mb total)

Anyone?

I just watched the Mushihimesama Ultra superplay and it made me wonder, is that final boss spray really possible to get through without dying? The guy in the video walks through level 5 like it's nothing, and winds up losing all of his extends on the final boss, killing him finally on his last life. If someone with that much skill can't do it, how possible can it be?

So would it be safe to say Cave has jumped the shark?

Please, yes.

I dunno, ESPG2 looks like the best Cave game in awhile...but is it a sequel. I'd like a new original cave game that is also not a Raizing game.

Anyone have (or know of any) R-Type, or R-Type II superplays? I'm referring to the original arcade versions.

It's possible. Have you see that spray? It's beyond absurd.

I had a difficult time spotting the gaps in the final few Maniac patterns.

If you watch the sample video from INH, the player seems to dodge the bullets fairly well.

There is also a trick to the final attack that someone discovered. If you go to the upper left of the screen after bombing, the boss will come towards you. If you can get the boss far enough to the left side, the boss will release the swarm of bullets so that half of it is off screen. If you go back down to the center, you will have huge gaps to fly through and the attack won't seem so impossible to dodge.

Does anyone have any superplay videos of 1941 or 19XX? Those are two shmups I've been itching to see in motion for quite some time.

I upped a 19.2 mil 19xx play, and it should appear in the list soon. The video was recorded in tate position, so hopefully you have a player that can rotate the video. If you use mplayer, 'mplayer -vf rotate=2' works well.

Great work on Gigawing 2 Rob, that is truly amazing! Do you use a Saturn controller, or a joystick, or just the stock DC controller?

Is anyone else having problems downloading videos off the Superplay site, today? I just downloaded some of the games from the Metal Slug series the other day, but today, I cannot download anything from the Superplay site. When I right click, it tells me that the video has been removed, and left-clicking doesn't do anything-not even refresh the page, like it did the last time I was having problems downloading superplays.

I did put in a message on the Superplay forums about this issue; hopefully it get's resolved soon-I would really like to download the Psyvariar All Clear video, as well as the Slyphia one.

A little tip to put into consideration; quoted directly from rjpageuk's Super-play.co.uk which is found on the main page:
A word on downloads...

Here at SuperPlay we offer an assortment of large gameplay videos that will only grow larger with time. As such, we must ask you not to download any more than a few files per day. Our server has a monthly bandwidth cap. If we are in danger of exceeding it before the end of the month we will be forced to pull all of our downloads immediately and without warning.
But anyways, the downloads seem to be working just fine for me. I don't know what the problem is between you, the computer, and the site.

Thanks. Standard DC for me, and I like it, except for when the d-pad falls apart.

I'd really like to see a superplay of the 2nd loop of DOJ's Death Label but since the Japanese ninja players have only gotten to 2-3 (at least on their Death Label ranking page) I assume there aren't any, at least any showing the entire loop?

I have at least one of the first loop, I'll upload it and submit tonight.

edit: Found it. Oh, the reason you don't see second loop replays? No hypers, one life. That's it. The fact they're getting to 2-3 is pretty damn good.

Yeah, I gotcha, Arrogan Bastard-the downloads are working just fine, and when they don't, I just need to be more patient-in any case, I did download Psyvariar 2 and Sylphia successfully yesterday.

Would anyone mind putting up a Super Play of PS1 Bokandesuyo? That would rock! :D

 Wow really? That's just..... insane. So would you say that the 2nd loop of Death Label is one of the (if not the) hardest 'extras' cave has ever thrown in?

I'm just interested in seeing (and I know there are a few others) if they added anything 'special' during the last fight with Hibachi.
