They're available. Phil (philexile here on the board) just recently bought one. You have to be pretty straight forward when you want one. Directly include your adress and state if you're a end user or if you have a VAT ID, so they can sell you one without tax. If you don't have a VAT number, best find a store to order one for you.
Unfortunately for 24khz use the UVC is better (unfortunately because the UVC is so hard to find). While the UVC averages the lines, the MIMO just throws out every other line (for 15khz). For 15khz that's great, but for 24khz this looks kinda odd.
Easiest to find and no 24khz support: Emotia
Hardest to find, best 24khz support: UVC
Most expensive, best 15khz quality, mediocre 24khz support: MIMO.
