Hello,
I'm interested in picking up an arcade stick to use with shmups (been using a keyboard for a little while now and I'm getting tired of it). I just want to be sure that any arcade stick I purchase will be compatible with as many shmups as possible. My main console is the PC.
Are there many games on the PC that are not compatible with arcade stick(s)? If so, is it enough to warrant not purchasing one if I'm mostly gaming on PC?
Thank you so much!
Some shmups I'm currently playing: numerous Touhou games, Jamestown, Ikaruga, Danmaku 2 Unlimited, Exceed 2nd/3rd, Hyadorah.
Compatibility?

Re: Compatibility?
All Shmups I tried on PC worked without problems with my stick (Qanba Q4 RAF): Jamestown, Ikaruga, Hydorah. I've read in the Steam forums for Ikaruga that some people have problems though. From what I've seen, nobody with a 360/PC stick had any problems.
Some (older?) PS3 sticks can also make problems on PCs, because they only work on certain old USB2 boards or some new USB3.0 boards.
