PCE Hucard Daisenpu pounds the genesis version into the dust, IMO.

I'd say this, Batsugun normal edition, and Fire Shark are the top 3. I'd like special edition more if it took less time to get hard, I think. Not trying to brag, I'm pretty sure anyone could clear the first loop without practice.

What's the average going rate on Fire Shark PCB's? I doubt it's hugely better than the Genesis port.

OK, I found Hellfire for 50 cents on EBay. I hope it's worth the money.

Yeah, except Cybercore doesn't suck. It's just kinda bland. I actually enjoy Cybercore.

Sorry for the OT, just had to answer that one!

didn't say cybercore sucks, and incidentally neither does slap fight (to me, anyway). the thing that irritates me about cybercore though. towards the end powering up is a must for survival, so it becomes a "power-up during the level, lose all power during boss, rinse, repeat" kind of thing. blah.

good find ganson. that games pretty through an emu filter.
I have no sig whatsoever.

I'm not sure, but I think the US version should be cheap. I got my copy for about $30.

on the other hand the JP ver. (which has 1P and 2P variations) is one of the most expensive Toaplan games, and kinda hard to find.

I haven't played the Megadrive port to compare, unfortunately.
