Wow that's a super, super good price. I might have to pick that stand up too. Might not see another at that price for a while. Doesn't look like it has all the bells n whistles my current stand has, but for 200 bucks shipped who cares.

And I'm digging the Dominion Tank Police poster  Love those pumas...

Is that game running on the Saturn next to it stretched? :?
Otherwise very classy setup with the furniture and all.

The PC to the right made me curious...

yeah the earthbound map is something i printed up and taped the pages together. cost effective but time consuming. and yeah the tv is on stretch mode, not the most authentic but it looks better than having black bars on the side, and thanks for the compliment on the furniture! it's not as good as some ppl's here, but it gets the job done.

Wifey told me I'm forbidden to buy a cab until i've graduated and got a job that pays a decent wage. Until then, this'll do!

I became happy owner of the Shinybow SB-5525 6x2 Matrix Switcher which is capable to independently and loselessly spit RGB signals from the consoles between my two Sony Trinitron CRT's with a remote control. No more mess with cords! I've cleaned up everything, mounted power supplies inside this cute IKEA shelf, made switches and soldered IR-sensor of the SCART splitter outside.

I also made a pad hack on my Sega Virtua Stick Pro HSS-0130 (as well as changed default buttons to sanwas) so now I can hook this beast up to any of my consoles, thanks to psx-2-all converters. Then tied up cords and mark them with color similar to the buttons.

And here it is, my yoko/tate game corner: just at the side of my work place.

604_degrees, lot of personality in that corner! I like it :D (even though I'm more of a 24"-27" guy).

I really like your solution to plug every system to both yoko and tate :D and I also like the idea of using just one arcade stick to rule them all :D

Very nice setup. keep the good work up!

Cool looking sony sets there. Multiple saturns ftw! Do you have something to put that HSS-1030 on, or do you lay down and play?

Sawing and screwing ( ) is hard work and I ache in places I didn't know could ache, but yesterday I fashioned a stand so I could rotate my general purpose gaming TV (picture slightly ruined by the miracle of sunlight in Britain):

I bought it from a Dutch guy. It's an LG Plastron Plasma, of course discontinued now, it's a very rare one, I actually think it never been released for general public but only for professional purposes. I don't have the exact reference of it, it might be behind the screen itself, but it's not well installed on my set up and it's a 33 kilos screen, sooo.... i'll leave it here for now

LG Flatron MZ-40PA10 or MZ-40PA18. :P

EDIT: the metal frame is SO sexy.
Looks like detachable side speakers were available originally. Meh looks better without.

What's amazing is that it seems to be in perfect condition, no burn-in marks.
It might not be worth the trouble but if you happen to know how to enter the service menu you may be able to see its mileage (actual number of hours it's been used).

no idea to get into the service menu.

it does not have burn-in marks, but as Crimzon Clover has some serious fixed images on the sides, after a couple of hours playing on it, you can see the marks on the screen on a black background, but it seems to fade out and go back to normal when switch it of.

Basically, if I don't play the game, I surely never let the screen running by itself, I switch it off immedialty in order to avoid useless burns.

You could set the windows background to pure black and alt+tab to it if you take a quick break.

Maybe a lap guy? That never worked for me tbh.
You might be surprised how many people use pads.
