Does anyone know if Toys N Joys are good to buy from?

They are not. It's almost guaranteed that if you see a great deal from there, they don't actually have it in stock. Refund is also a real hassle since they take forever. Buy at your own risk.

Not good as thats where I was going to buy my ceramic white psp, any suggestions? Should I just go the lik-sang route?

I figured since they wouldn't reply to my email to see if they would check the psp if it had dead pixels they could care less.

Heres another shout to steer clear of Toys N Joys. Most certainly NOT worth the hassle. Check out Play Asia, NCSX, and yes lik-sang have also never done me wrong.

Thanks for the heads up. This is my first import by the way. Is success HK any good?

I can vouch for the sucktasticness of toys n joys. Don't order from them, it might take an obscene amount of time to get your order and if you email them you will be given the runaround...if they even bother to reply to you.

I've ordered from Toys N Joys twice with no problems... but judging by the rest of the responses, I'm in the minority.

I ordered one game from them, and they are slow to respond to emails and the game took longer than expected, but I did get it OK in the end....

But I hear horror stories about them all the time........

I live across the street from Toys'n joys. I buy games there on occasion (just because it's so close), but I wouldn't order from them online. The one time I tried (when I lived elsewhere) they took weeks to reply and only then they said "sorry that's been out of stock for months". :? Not worth your time, and you can find cheaper prices & better service just about anywhere else.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't a great deal of LCD-based products such as flat-screen monitors & handheld gaming systems generally always have at least 1 dead pixel? Most of the LCD monitors I've ever seen have at least 1 right out of the box. My Sega Nomad has one, & I've noticed other handheld gaming systems I've seen have them. I know the TurboExpress was supposed to be such that pretty much every unit had at least one dead pixel.

www.japangamestock.com are VERY reliable, and have an excellent selection of cheap import gaming hardware-just check out their prices for Duo's, Famicom's, import N64's, Neo Geo CD units, and more, and you'll find that they are pretty amazing-certainly much lower then what you'll find on Ebay!

I definitely second Japangamestock as an excellent import site with the cheapest selection of consoles around. A bit brusque on communications but they respond quickly (under 5 minutes was my record) and effectively.
