Not exactly much of an accomplishment, but bear with me, because I'm a serious n00b at shmups, but I got a Gunbird 2 Child difficulty level 1cc a few days ago with Morrigan. On the plus side, it only took me like four tries.

gunbird 2 arcade is INSANELY hard. like after stage 3 you basically have to know where to position your ship at all times or you will just die to fast ass bullets. never tried the child mode though lol

Child is a lot easier. It's got slow bullets, and the patterns usually have a lot removed.
I've made it to stage 4 is GB2 normal difficulty before, but never past. Bullets are SO DAMN FAST! also I can only get there if I get the default stage 2 and 3. hahaha.

Mostly not picking up power-ups, powering-up very slowly and exploiting a bug on the stage 2 boss where you can get a free suicide.
The actual death on stage 6 was not intentional but ultimately helped a lot as it reduced the rank and I could immediately power-up again. I would probably have died to rank anyway if not for that death, likely multiple times.

Seeing as you just did this though, any chance of sending me some basic advice for the specific points you found difficult in your run? I'm looking to learn more courses and add more stage guides to ST: Darius II. Since you did a lot of stages I didn't your tips would be valuable to my research. And I'll even credit you in the guide

Did you happen to fight Yamato while you were playing it? I've been trying to find a consistent strategy to that fight where you take zero hits to your shield, but I've never been able to find one that works 100% of the time.

Blue Wish Resurrection Plus -- Hell 1cc!

I used P2-side Blue Wish.

I've been wanting this one since 2012, but... eh :/ This really didn't feel like a fitting victory. I always imagined it would happen after like 30 hours of practice, but this just kind of... came out of nowhere. The TLB didn't even appear for some reason. I thought the only requirement was a Hell 1cc?

Suddenly, a gate shuts in front of me. Forgot this one had a gate.

There's no way to avoid the death but the game's essentially over; It'll be fine as long as I have a life left. I don't. 1CC denied. The brain that can't fight back somehow managed to win.

You were expecting a glorious victory, I gave you a horrible defeat. Boom, twisted you like M Night Shyamalan.

But it was a new high score, so it was a victory. Boom twisted again!

I went on a Mushihimesama spree, earlier today, I downloaded mushi1 and 1ccd it after a couple of tries! As far as Futari, I've tried in the past and have gotten close but took a break from it. Just 10 minutes ago I 1ccd Futari as well! What a night, both clears were on original mode

9.25 mil on mushi 1, and 1.56 bill for Futari, yeay

Not sure what to say really, I just watched this and this replay, copied the boss and midboss speedkills strats and pretty much got it first try. And I think the replays are pretty self-explanatory.
You just need to be extremely aggressive really.

Yamato is completely random in what it does. There are a couple of patterns it can do and it usually shouldn't screw you over too much but you're probably going to get hit at least once on most runs.

What happens if you try the Sexy Parodius bug with a shottype with checkpoints and not auto?

as for the BWR+ question, you have to clear Hell without dying, which is still easier than doing BWR without continues due to the slowdown.
