Hey guys, I just want to mention that I was the one that made them. I'll make up some more in the near future, but I'm trying to get my hand on some printable vinyl first for that. Previous ones were made with regular sticker paper laminated with packing tape. Very functional, but I could do better.lettuce wrote:eightbitminiboss wrote:Another XRGB Mini owner in another forum I frequent hooked me up with this neato translated remote control overlay he's been working on.

The plug may fit, but you'll need to make sure it has the right polarity as well. You could also buy a stepdown converter from here:CandyFace wrote:Would anyone be able to tell me if this power supply would work with the Framemeister since it would be cheaper and much nicer than having a voltage stepper.

i know the plugs fits but I'm worried about the voltage.
That is indeed not a stupid idea and a US power strip, never thought of thatKonsolkongen wrote:The plug may fit, but you'll need to make sure it has the right polarity as well. It will end up costing you the same, and it will work for sure
You could also buy a larger stepdown and get a US power strip off ebay if you plan on getting any US or JAP consoles in the future, then you can have it all hooked up at the same time. That's what I do
Mind you, my stepdown is only 100W so it won't run a PS3 or 360, but it's great for retro consoles.

Some 1CHIP units have the vertical bar in the center and some don't. 1CHIP-03 units seem to be the rarest from what I can tell, and no one that I know who owns one has the vertical bar problem. Some 1CHIP-01 and 1CHIP-02 units have them; some don't, again this is anecdotal, just from what I've heard. It's possible that some 1CHIP-03 units have the problem as well, but there are so few people I know with them to test that out...Shining wrote:Wait, i thought it had been confirmed that there are no difference in image quality between the US 1CHIP's(01-03)? I'm satisfied as can be with my 01, but you guys are giving me ideas..

Whats the HDMI Bypass function??Konsolkongen wrote:Could be that the 1.08 firmware is just a few quick fixes for the new revisions of the Framemeisters. It could also be that they have slightly different motherboard layouts and therefore needs a new firmware...?
Does it feature the HDMI Bypass function hinted earlier? If not then I think they will release 1.09 next on their site.
Thanks Fudoh, I tried everything you suggested to no avail. My supergun is a MAK Strike:Fudoh wrote:Each arcade board produces it's own RGB picture, so your CPS2 might have *way* too high video levels for the Mini - that would cause the flashes. Do you have potentiometers on your supergun ? Maxed out already ? You might want to add higher resistors and/or a bunch of capacitors to flaten out the voltage peaks.
Check if the SKEW setting affects the waviness and switch between NORMAL2 and STANDARD aspect ratio settings.
Check out this one: http://playoffline.wordpress.com/cable/jpn21pinrgb/I "think" its wired correctly....but am uncertain of the ground.
Thanks guys.lettuce wrote:This is my UK Mini adapter cable....
