This was as far as I got into the game; stage 8 ( 2-2) was a mess and 2-3 was even worse. Routing the next two stages will be a pain in the ass, but I'm sure someone can do it!

It's too easy to lose lives to the penultimate boss (battleship) and the scorpion form of the final boss. It really crippled my ability to conserve resources going into the second loop (didn't last much longer!).

You're probably save at least 2 bombs on the battleship boss, and I prefer to lose lives on the final stage because the rank will decrease.

First credit after a loooong time since last TRP STGT. Really hoping this game would be selected on La Calice Cup 4, because this is one of best meme shmup ever.

The loop is brutal with the revenge bullets, especially when you play with a limited ranged character like Mifune, but with the amount of resources given and the right plan, it's doable. Although with some annoying rng than could end your run.

Kinda unsatisfied with this run, i had an unintentional death at 2-3 so for the rest of the run was a bit out of my plan and had to luck out 2-5. Lost about 62k for the 2-5 asteroid rush section because of that. I had a run three days ago than went according my plan, but sadly i died at 2-6 boss (the easiest shit...)

Also i unintentionaly discovered that the Stage 4 grenades that you push them and gain some tick points are actually destructable and are worth 5.000 each, there are 18 of these and if you somehow destroy all of them you get 90k in total (!), i got 12 in this run (60k in total) which is why i was able to get 752k on the first loop without having to rely on stage 2 power up rng.

Despite the bizarre jpegs and overall jank, i (sort of) ended liking this game, figuring the route and resource management for the second loop ended being more fun than i expected.

I did wonder when someone else would pick up on that (or that it wasn't just me seeing things). I'm also preeetty sure Mifune's going to be the only one that can do it. Have you found a consistent way? I couldn't figure out if it was better to pointblank them hard or "lasso" them with the fire trail to stop them from just flying offscreen first.

Ahh death at Stage 7 (2-1) midboss, didn't reset cuz i wanted to see my consistency.

Pretty much yeah, the other characters won't even stand a chance. Probably the latter works better, you need to be in a distance where you do enough damage to the grenade without accidentally destroying the blue carrier before they release it. The grenades have a bigger hitbox than the blue carriers you as long your main flame is hitting the grenade and not the carrier you should be able to get most or even all of them consistenly. Also if you get too close to the grenades, they may glitch out and "teleport" on you.

Your ship should stand on between these two red lines approximately (having max power at this point) and if you got this right you only need to move horizontally, assuming you don't leave a popcorn enemy alive when doing this. The second group I think is the most annoying one because of the iron plates that may block you but because you are in that distance this shouldn't be much of a issue hopefully.

WTF I thought no one's gonna 2-ALL this game or is MauCast has ran out of good shmups to crush on and just blindly went with the lesser-known dadtrash??

Finally uploading video because I don't feel like playing this again soon. Stage 2 is reset hell with the power-up RNG, and being forced to watch the unskippable cutscene at the beginning, followed by playing Stage 1 every time, it got boring very fast for me.

It's 4k points below my PB, but it shows the scoring-survival route I had planned, would probably had 1.4 million on this run if I didn't fail at the grenades on the 2nd loop too much (and better RNG too?), so I felt kinda unsatisfied with it. Also added some notes on closed captions, hope I didn't miss something. (It's hard for me to come up with notes and descriptions sometimes)

Sorry if this took so long to upload.
