A couple more hundred mil is the most I think I'll be able to squeeze out of a bomb type run, they're not much good for stage 6 or the TLB, although they've helped me learn the game a lot better.


Found a couple of tricks to do with this contraption on stage 5:


Destroying it haphazardly will only result in a single large medal appearing. However, destroying all the turrets and sidepods before the middle will turn it into a damage sponge that drops bees when shot and can be used to ramp up the chain. It's very easy to accidentally do this by bombing the mess just before it comes on screen any time after the last set of sliding side turrets appear, which will automatically remove all the turrets at once. I say this because if only the front turrets are destroyed (don't know if this matters but they basically will be) when the sidepods are removed, the centre part can then be destroyed to produce three bombs at once. Another thing I noticed was that after I missed destroying one of the large ships in stage 3, the boss only had its shots cancelled into small medals rather than 100k ones.
