How is the "Bluescape" book with this? Any info on what it's like would be appreciated.

It has many pages of interviews with Manabu Namiki and other development team members. It also has a few pages' worth of old design documents and concept art, but the book is 90% Japanese text so it's a little hard to recommend if you can't read any of it.

Cool! Definitely a nice extra then, hopefully we may see some translations on the shmuplations site from it eventually.

Kinda sucks to hear this as I just sold my PS4. Oh well, a PC release seems more likely now though!

When you consider that the PCB and Saturn ports go for 100s and that M2 has ported this flawlessly with tons of enhancements, not really.

I agree, with the ACA ports going at a a sixth of the price, they're essentially selling to the hardcore, I mean as an impulse buy for older gamers, they're going to pick an ACA tittle or two and look straight past this.

Just preordered the XB1 version of Garegga, pretty excited to finally check this out without paying an arm and a leg for the JP PS4 version.

Also so damn excited Feveron is finally coming to Xbox when it was originaly supposed to be on 360! I imagine it'll probably be released before the end of this year.

So many damn good shmups coming to XB1, and a lot of them are good, robust versions, not just a bunch of boring ACA ports. Not to mention the huge list of backwards compatible shmups already out there. Glad I invested in an XB1/PS4 arcade stick this gen, though I've barely used it for PS4.

Patch 1.05 is out today on PS4, and will apparently be available at launch for Xbox One.

Changes:

• Added advice display to loading screens
• Added "attract sound" & "continues allowed" settings
• Added 3 new enemy bullet color settings
• Added "wallpaper display" setting
• Added per-frame rank indicator to rank graph
• Added 1 new horizontal mode gadget preset
• Added 3 new vertical mode gadget presets
• Added new vertical mode gadgets (rank graph, formation info, rapid count + speed)
• Added ability to skip ROM/RAM check with 2P controller
• Adjusted gadget layout when using "fit" screen mode (so they don't overlap the play area)
• Changed the instruction cards shown when in attract mode
• Changed vertical gadget preset #4 -> #1
• Changed latency reduction setting from 0/1 to OFF/ON
• In "Screen" and "M2 Gadget" settings, you can now hide the options UI by holding L2/R2
• Fixed an issue with replays created in version 1.03

They're not deliberately excluding anyone, it's mostly just a paperwork issue, as far as I can tell.

These are the countries covered by today's launch:

USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Hong Kong, Argentina, Chile, Columbia, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Japan

Buying from other country's stores isn't hard, you basically just switch your country of origin on your xbox.com profile and buy directly from the website, but you will need a currency card for whichever store you decide to buy from.

Yes they are me when did the United Kingdom become a second tier country?. If this comes out on PS4 I'm not buying an Xbox One X. I thought the whole point of digital content was everyone could get it at the same time b*******. CAVE and MS have been taking the piss out of us for years I thought this was over with the Xbox One that they would get it right. I'm just incredibly disappointed.
