Considering DBAC was made for a Taito Type X2, which isn't exactly the most powerful system, I think it's still worth a shot.

Does anyone happen to know where the music in this stage is from? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdQjZNaxIhQ sounds like some remix of the whole darius series. It's clearly switching to G-Darius at the end.
Track 24 from the original Darius Burst OST, I LED NU-RED-GAS
Fun fact, the title of the song can be rearranged to spell "Darius Legend"

Edit:
I believe this is the full song list of songs remixed in this medley, in order of appearance
Chaos - Darius
SFX from Darius Gaiden
World of Spirit - Darius Burst
Boss 7 - Darius
Say PaPa - Darius II
Visionnerz - Darius Gaiden
Self - Darius Gaiden
Adam - G Darius

That's a track called "I LED NU-RED-GAS" from the original Burst soundtrack. It was used in some of the Mission Mode stages, IIRC, and is indeed a remix of several tracks spanning the whole series. It goes through "Chaos" and "Boss Scene 7" from the original game, "Say PaPa" from Darius II, "Self" from Gaiden and then that bit of "Adam". :)

Edit: too late!

You shouldn't have any issues; I'm also using a core i7 laptop, and I'm getting 60 FPS.

I'm not actually sure if the game is using my Intel HD card or my GeForce card though. However Taito Type X2 hardware isn't that powerful, so I would say that you should be good in any case.

Finally got Gamestream Co-Op running and was looking forward to, for a laugh, seeing how it worked with someone online to start knocking out some of these 2p Chronicle Mode missions...

...Only to find that Dariusburst doesn't actually use exclusive fullscreen at all, and runs permanently in windowed fullscreen, so Game Share won't work.

Boooooo!

There will be a live preview for DariusBurst CS at 8PM EST tomorrow (12/2), on http://www.twitch.tv/degigames.

I'll explain the launch details, game features, and show off the various game modes so you can see what the game is like, if you haven't been following the closed beta comments.

See you there!

AC mode will certainly run fine. Couldn't say about CS mode.

Steam, for the purpose of closed beta/review. There's no way I'm missing the opportunity to gush about Darius in a national newspaper. :-)

You know what would've been cool?
Using the cabinets feature to add in online coop.

At least, that's what I think. I also think it sounds like a huge pain in the ass to try to program. But I still think it'd be cool.

I just had a mission in the starting bloody planet on Chronicle mode drop a hidden G.T.V. on me, not in the mission rules.

Now that's just not funny.

So are we using cabinet 11 for Chronicle Mode as was suggested earlier? I didn't really see anything unlocked there but I cleared 2 stages.

I'm still on cabinet 11 but haven't played much arcade. I do have about 4 stages cleared (with a 9 of shame score on one of them.)

Haven't encountered any surprise GTVs but there is a regular Great Thing lurking in the red hex at the far right.

Glad to see that AC mode is still playable (and enjoyable!) on the Vita

Can't even clear ADH, though :( Shit's hard.

I guess it's better this way.
Even I managed to no-miss ABCEH and ABCEI on vanilla Burst and ABDGJ on SP, so a little increase in difficulty is fine by me.

This game has a nice difficulty curve, ranging from "Enjoyable walk in the park" to "Oh God please let me no-miss Daioujou, Image Fight and Gradius III blindfolded instead. At the same time."

Link doesn't work...

For some reason it adds a .cs in the address when you click on it.
If you remove the .cs, it works.

http://www.cs.darius.jp/dbcs/en/ is what comes up when you try it...it should be:

DBAC is rather on the easy side tbh. Learn to use your cannon as a defensive tool. Camp.

There's nothing anywhere near DOJ.

Top ten list of things that kill me in DB:CS:

1. GTV
2. Great Thing
3. Curving Lasers, particularly the tiny ones that are unleashed in a swarm.
4. Lasers that leave the screen but then come back. Out of sight, but never out of mind apparently.
5. Failed counterburst attempts
6. Massive laser with little warning (Thousand Edge is pretty bad about this)
7. Popcorn enemies out of nowhere.
8. Origin Hawk taking forever to kill bosses.
9. 2nd Hawk isn't much better
10. Huge bullet spreads
