Brook converter ? Mine is PS3->PS4 and my stick seems to disconnect after a set amount of play, like 10 minutes. What is your issue ?Geist wrote: if the Brooks converter allows it....

I didn't have that problem with the 360 to PS4 adapter. Do you have the latest firmware?guigui wrote:Brook converter ? Mine is PS3->PS4 and my stick seems to disconnect after a set amount of play, like 10 minutes. What is your issue ?Geist wrote: if the Brooks converter allows it....

Oh, I was not even aware this existed. The "Fix 8 minutes time out problem for PS4 V3.55" will certainly help me. Many thanks.

Re: Ketsui on PS4 / M2 - This weekend in Japan
Dug out my 360 Ketsui to have another look at the scaling options and seriously it's so frustrating, there isn't one setting with a decent size that's entirely free of artifacts.
Even the best sweetspot ('overscan' 93%) has a single line of scaling screen tear remaining, and yeah the smoothing filters are useless.
No way to get an ideal output without using an external scaler in-between the console and the display.
They really need to fix that with the new port.

You probably need to do the firmware upgrade.guigui wrote:Brook converter ? Mine is PS3->PS4 and my stick seems to disconnect after a set amount of play, like 10 minutes. What is your issue ?Geist wrote: if the Brooks converter allows it....

get closer to them to lock on faster so they die before the next one spawns and dodge their shot to the side
as you lock the 4th, move to the left to kill the ground enemies with the laser while still locked on to the helicopter, then go back right to kill the last 2

If you fall behind at all during that part you're all but forced to bomb, so try your best to anticipate their spawn locations and target them aggressively. And if that doesn't work, bomb the hell out of it.

why would you anticipate something with a fixed spawn location instead of just knowing where they'll spawn beforehand?Shepardus wrote:try your best to anticipate their spawn locations

So macrododge the whole spread?
Shep i'm trying to cut down on bombs and practice with NMNB in mind to reach Omote.

I meant anticipate as in "act before (someone) in expectation of what they will do."Bananamatic wrote:why would you anticipate something with a fixed spawn location instead of just knowing where they'll spawn beforehand?Shepardus wrote:try your best to anticipate their spawn locations
Macrododging is probably unnecessary on the first few since they should each be firing only once before they die and it's not too hard to find a gap if you're directly below them when they fire. I would say don't move more than you have to there. I haven't played the game since getting a scrubby 1-ALL though so I could be misremembering.Blinge wrote:So macrododge the whole spread?

Correct. As far as I know, there is no news on when it will be.
The official website still pops up the location test information even though it ended a month ago.

Sorry if this was in the thread already ( I got tired of reading all the Cave banter), but will the m2 version have any graphical enhancements over the jp 360 version?
Oh and the guy with the Brook converter, you will have to do a firmware update pretty much every time your console has a software update.
P.s. Cave rules

There aren't any kind of HD versions of the graphics, there haven't reworked anything from what it can tell. It looks crisper though. I own the 360 version as well but can't see myself it apart from the Arrange mode.2dvertical wrote:Sorry if this was in the thread already ( I got tired of reading all the Cave banter), but will the m2 version have any graphical enhancements over the jp 360 version?

I'm using a PS2 > PS4 Brook converter. I only updated it once when I first got it about a year ago. Works great with this port.
