Cats in Shmup

Is there any shmup that you can use cats as a mainship?

I've played these 3 games; Dangun Feveron, Akkanvader and Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius. Any other?

And this one is still unclear but according to a comment in this site, the game has a cat, too bad no pic exists on the net

This thread reminds me, back in 2005 I found pics of this (apparently doujin) shmup and I still don't know what it is. Would love to try it though. A cat with a railgun in a cardboard box fighting blobs, how can you not be intrigued?

I think it's Utte Yosili. I've not played it.

lol The flash cat shmup Pixel posted is Wii compatible, sa-weet. Darn mecha cat carrier took me down, d'oh meowth!

Someone could make a hilarious hori flash cat shmup using Miss Kitty from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. "Meow, meow death and destruction meow meow meow. Used special weapon meow meow meow"

Not quite in line with the thread question, but Niigi Gorgeous Blue (in Shikigami No Shiro 2) uses her cat to deflect bullets.

Also, I can't believe someone hasn't mentioned Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy yet.

I made this Kim avatar a while back for mikwuyma at SDA, so if you want it, you can steal it. And then you can pretend to be him and confuse everyone, sort of like JoshF with fighter17.

BTW I don't know why the URL for that other pic says engrish3.png at HG101, because trust me, that is a far below average screen of Engrish compared to any randomly selected screen of text in TSS.

This is freeware, called "Space Giko Harriya-n" parody of Space Harrier.

Not as a mainship but it's another new find! I never noticed that cuz I got one for PS2 (US ver) and it has different image for the cover.

I love the meow of Niigi's cat so much. The animation when she whips it out and shoves it clawing madly into a hail of bullets is so cute, too.
