Ugh. This week is so beastly. Quite the finale you picked Nemo.

Shit, another game I don't own - what the popular, $5 carts have done to you, Nemo?

Ahh, well... That's the end of the journey for me. 'twas good while it lasted. Good luck to all the competitors!

After the results of last week, I figured most people didn't care anymore, so I decided we should have a little fun this week.

Sweet...more people for the hi-score board. Odd that it's "Crazy" instead of "Normal" since I'm only aware of...what...two people who have 1cc'd it.

I think that it's really funny how I am still in the second 'tier' of all the competitors simply because I showed up every week. I'll try to put a little more time into this game but with Mushihimesama getting here yesterday I don't think it will happen.

I am pretty sure that any future comps featuring 'oldschool' games will get a pass from me . I really don't know why I joined this one. They frusterate me to no end.

Well this was a different kind of tournament. It was more about seeing how far you can get based solely on skill rather than repetition. You can take pride in the fact you showed up every week, and hopefully your skills improved.

Maybe, but I think what I got out of this more then anything else is a feeling of emptiness in the pit of my stomach whenever I play Pocky an Rocky.

I would have competed for the EDF, but I could not find a rom, when I learned the errors of my ways it was too late. I believe my Pocky and Rocky score was also in late. My bad. I would give Undead Line a go but I just can not stand the game. I am way more into modern shmups any way and I should have probably not joined in the tourny in the first place. I really should have put in some time for Gleylancer, I love that game, I wonder what the hell I was doing that week. Oh well, as ya do.

I don't have Undead Line. My friend has it and I could have asked to borrow it but I had lost interest in the tourney.

I am the suck.

I always entertained the idea of competing in a tourney but when there is that one person that is always on top every time it really is a major discouragement and I lost interest. every week was the same people on top. It was a league that I should not even attempt to be in. On the Gleylancer week I was at first happy as I love the game but before I could even turn on my X'eye I was already out of contention so I didn't play til the last second and posted a score after 2 plays. Almost thought of not playing at all cause the ranking was going to be the same.

I like old shoot them up so I thought this would be a good chance to try out a tournament. But I am not suited to be in any competition. I need to go back to my solitary ways and just have fun playing the games I love. I hereby am retiring from tourney play. I was never able to play at at championship level so there is no reason to continue. If I cant be competitive than whats the point. The standings were pretty much set after the second week. Who was I kidding thinking I could play at a high level. I'll just retreat back to my suck life and play at my suck level by my self

Yeah, I was too late for the Gleylancer tourney, so I would at least contribute here in the Undeadline segment.

That's the wrong attitude, since there's no actual prize other than growth, winners aren't decided by the final standings, but by personal achievement. So despite the fact that I will finish 2nd, someone who finished 2nd last may be a bigger winner than me. While this may not have been a friendly tournament for newcomers, the purpose of any tournament I hold is for people to learn new ways to enjoy their games.

I agree with Nemo. I got 17th but I still had a pretty good time. Going into anything expecting to perform spectacularly isn't a good thing.
