THE OFFICIAL VOTE will be decided by posting your game & course choice vote in this thread.
I count the posts per game and the results will determine what game and course we do.
NOTES:
Battle Bakraid NORMAL & ADVANCED votes will count together in determining game choice versus the other two games.
Armed Police Batrider NORMAL & ADVANCED votes will count together in determining game choice versus the other two games.
If Bakraid or Batrider end up winning the votes between the 3 games, the course choice already stated in the vote will then be tallied.
This is in place so that Dimahoo doesn't win because votes for the other games are cut into two parts because of course choice.
-Only people assigned to a team on the first page of STGT 2k6 will have their votes counted.
-Even if you didn't play in Blazing Star last week, if your name is assigned to a team, you can still vote.
-If you post your vote and then edit your post, your vote is disqualified.
-If you post your vote and then post another vote again later on, I will only use your first vote.
-If you post your vote, post another vote later, then edit or remove your first vote post and I/we catch it, your vote is disqualified and other people should yell at you.
-If you post your vote, but forget to specify course, post another vote with your course choice. Just don't edit either post, as you'll break the rules above.
-..so basically, be careful and certain when posting here
-To stop any chances of confusion for team voting, I ask that only Individual posted votes will be counted. Nobody can 'delegate' their vote to another team member or post their vote in the name of another team member. Obviously you may pm within your team as much as you want so you all can agree which choice to go for, but all 5-7 votes from a team will not count unless I see an individual post from every team member.
-If I don't see at least 40 votes via post by Sunday night 23:59 GMT (7-8pm EST), I'll let the vote run a little bit into Monday morning/early afternoon (as I'll be with family for US Labor Day), using proper judgment upon recognizing what top pick has gained some obvious voting gap ahead of the others before closing the vote. In the event this must occur, Edge or my post will determine the moment the poll ends. Whoever posts first. I will probably warn of a proper deadline to stop the extension if it comes to this.
*12 individual complaints against this rule will VETO the possibility of a voting time extension.
*A formal complaint against this time extension rule will be recognized by writing "noextend" (with the no-space between) in your post. (so I can Ctrl-F it)
THE UNOFFICIAL VOTE with the typical polling above is just for fun. I threw it there to "keep things exciting" and to keep people in-the-know what game they are going to have to aquire and get running ahead of time. The unofficial vote up-top will have no bering on which game wins the vote.
Based on Edge's judgment along with the need to specify which mode, here are the choices on what to play for Raizing week:
Battle Bakraid NORMAL COURSE

6 Stages
Not Battle Garegga with better graphics. Military-themed with a Medaling system & a large enemy Chaining system for multipliers. Game is sometimes compared to the DonPachis. Training Mode is around to ease-in people who haven't played. Stage editing is also there. 9 ships to mess with with main & secondary shots. There's multiples to collect that work like Battle Garegga. There's various configurations for these multiples and there's secret configurations to look for. There's depth and secrets to exploit that sound like they'll keep the score thread talkin' all week.
Battle Bakraid ADVANCED COURSE

8 stages with ramped difficulty. The "Meat and potatoes" of the game. Bosses w/ enhanced attacks and everything else getting fiercer than normal mode.

Dimahoo

The Dungeons & Dragons fantasy shooter, so to speak. 8 Ships. Secret items are rampant with crazy ways to get them, probably encouraging all-out piece-by-peice dissection of bosses. A very deep regular item collection system dictates the scoring along with a multiplier. This game has a pretty unique charge attack. Collecting entire item sets & memory of what enemy drops what item may play a big role for higher scoring. "Are you great?" and so-on..
Armed Police Batrider NORMAL COURSE

6 Stages
"The single greatest example of a manic shooter." This game also seems to have the most secrets crammed into it. This includes hidden bosses. Player selection has about 20 ships and deals with teams. Four ship customizations with each ship may keep strategies different throughout the week. Boss milking may play a role in higher scores. What & how you kill things (bomb, shot-type, etc.) + Medaling seem to be the scoring system here. There's tons of other depth to consider that the strategy section details.

More Stages and Harder

Sorry about the rule-throwdown in voting, but due to time constraints, try to take the concerns to the main STGT 2k6 thread. There we can revise how to run this type of poll for next week. My goal was to anticipate as many unmentioned things that could go wrong as I could and adjust for them.
If I pulled some dyslexia with Batrider & Bakraid research, gimmie the heads-up. My bad in advance. (infos from strategy threads, review archive, & klov.com)
