Never submitted my old score when I played this last year, started again thanks to Breakdown. This game is nuts and I love it.

This game is AWESOME. Got my USB Saturn pad and started playing Dragon Blaze today. (More like this morning :P) I can't believe how nice it is to play with a pad, and with the best one around, at that xD

I'm actually thinking about chilling out on getting a Mushi board right away and going straight to Dragon Blaze...Opinions on this?

Psikyo PCBs are a tricky thing because of the auto-fire issues. PS2 and DC ports are the way to go in my opinion. MAME for Strikers Plus and 99.

I'll update soon.

This game is indeed awesome. It's just so dense and hectic, and I really like the art/music.

Dragon Blaze is the only Psikyo shmup I enjoy playing but I'm absolutely terrible at it. This was my second time ever in stage 5, and got promptly owned by the 3 large tanks at the start.

Congrats! Any guesstimate on total hours you've put into DB?

I would say around 250 hours or so in the last 15 months. There were a lot of days where I would get home from work and put in 5-6 hours or so a day. Of course, I had to take several breaks from the game and play something else for a while to keep from getting burnt out on it.

I tried firing up my Strikers 99 board a few days ago but it's not working, it locks up after a minute or so. :(
