Help with making cables

Post by icycalm »

I have an ArcadeVGA card on the way, and I'd like to connect it to my European Scart TV when it arrives. So I'll need a VGA to Scart RGB cable, and it is my understanding that no one sells these.

I asked the Ultimarc guys if they could make the cable for me, but they said they don't do that.

So I am going to have to make it myself. I have neither the tools, nor the knowledge to do this, so I'd appreciate it if you could give me some instructions, or point me to an appropriate website. The more details the better.

Thanks in advance.

Might do the job - arcadevga cards are just mangled Radeons anyway.

Have a look at that one too - how to wire one up.

Wow, that ebay auction might just do the trick, and I won't even have to get my hands dirty. It's dirt cheap*, too. Thanks, man.

*turns out I was looking at the shipping costs. At GBP30, the cable it's actually not that cheap. But I'll try it anyway.
