ebay (and other) auctions with insane prices
Auction for Symphony of the Night PAL limited.
Ended at 500 USD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111!
That is 500 bucks for the PAL version which has ugly borders and runs at 50hz instead of 60...

I like it how the seller calls it "new" even though it's really not ("I HAVE OPENED THIS TO TAKE A PEEK"). You took off the shrinkwarp and opened it, dumbass. That turns a "new" thing into a "used" thing.
"The beer is new, I just took off the cap to have a look inside" ;D

Quite the bargain when you consider the NES original can be bought for about fifty cents.Axon wrote:Sorry if this has already been posted.

Good find, that's probably the most insane one yet!
Heh, there are only 26 golden Nintendo World Championship carts, but people don't even pay 14,000 USD for them (there's a seller who has offered one again and again for many months, constantly lowering his price). And those are by Nintendo. Atlantis II on the other hand is a so-so game by an unkown maker. 1.7 Mio USD. LOL

Indeed. Imagine the winner's surprise when they get to that beach house, only to find the permanent residents still at home. And imagine the look on the residents faces when they say "What eBay auction?".BulletMagnet wrote:Here's an interesting PS3 "pack-in"...
That person is so lazy he doesn't even wanna send the item. It's right there in his beach houseBulletMagnet wrote:Here's an interesting PS3 "pack-in"...
When you arrive he'll be like: "Look man about the vacation and all....you can chill if you want, but my parents are coming tommorow, but you can crash for tonite"
Here this seller is trying to sell a Policenauts poster for about $570.
Here's one my buddy just forwarded to me... apparently a coworker's auction. OMG, EA employees know what a Saturn is???
Got $1200 to spare? I guess the price isn't that ridiculous (could be decent even), but there's a lot of extraneous crap in there that can be had for cheap.

For what is offered, the price is too high. Several of the best/most expensive imports are missing and several games lack a spine, which as we know reduces the value quite a bit.
Sure... No Taromaru, no Stellar Assault SS, no Hyper Duel, no Blast Wind, no Thunder Force Gold Pack, ...This is one of the greatest collection of Saturn import games in North America

Not ebay but still, up there in price. Any takers? It's been online a bit now. Not to mention a good way to jump start an empty collection.
