Espgaluda II arrange on switch

Hi, I started playing Espgaluda II on Switch recently and I love the Arrange mode. I'm currently in Level 5 and I learned that I need to 1CC as 2P to rank up the second level, e.g. Level 5*2. However, I could not figure out how to start the game as 2P, I tried to start as 1P and then joined 2P but after finishing 1CC, the level didn't change. Anyone can help? Thanks.
