What caps to replace in PVM for deflection?

Post by chriz74 »

Does anyone know what caps are involved in the deflection circuit of a 1440qm PVM ? I can’t tell from service manual.

The 1440 was called 1340 in the US.
The Retrotech Youtube channel has done a couple of videos on this monitor.

It's labeled pretty clearly in the manual.

Pull caps, test, replace the ones out of spec. Bam.

You should only replace defective capacitors or the ones specified in the service bulletins.
