First output of the switcher is connected to a CRT TV.
Second goes to a Plasma TV, through XRGB.
That was my setup for roghly ten years, everything worked fine.
Now, Sega Saturn signal start glitching, on XRGB / Plasma TV end.

Glitch displaces block of horizontal lines for a frame or two, at random spots.
Pattern is random as well:
- Sometimes glitch doesn't occur at all
- Sometimes it's rare, yet noticeable
- Sometimes it's frequent, makes playing a game rather uncomfortable. Sound can mute as well
I didn't change anything fundamental in my setup lately.
I undid all the minor changes (new SCART cable for my Megadrive, new SCART cable for my CRT TV), just for the good meausre. I don't believe it heped.
I swapped Saturn for a different model.
I obviously tried bypassing XRGB, and I haven't seen the glitch while connected directly to the Plasma.
However I can't be sure if I wasn't witnessing its pattern: sometimes the glitch may not bother me for days.
I wonder if any of you being more experienced can help me identifying the case, based on the provided info? I'm frankly tired of walking in circles.
P. S. I don't remember where I got the SCART cable, and what kind of cable is it
