Anyone tried these DC component cables?

Post by RebeL9 »

I've seen these cables on Ebay for quite a while. But I can't find any reviews or any info on them. Anyone tried them?
Do the have that infamous banding issue when trying them on a BVM D-series monitor?

It says component cable in the ad but it also mentions RGBS which doesn't sound right?

Those are just RGB cables for the Dreamcast. So 240p/480i only (no VGA mode) and no YPbPr output like the Retro Gaming Cables UK Dreamcast component cables.

Kaico / BitFunx have some relatively new DC component cables, though

What about those Dreamcast VGA cables you see everywhere on ebay. Are they legit VGA, or just RGB? I suspect the latter.

Yes I just noticed. I wonder if they have that flagging issue on D-series of BVM monitors?
Anyone here tried them?
