Death Smiles high scores on Switch missing

Over the last few days I’ve been playing a lot of Deathsmiles on Switch. My scores disappear though whenever I load up the game. Is this normal? (I’m playing Normal mode)

Been a while, but if I remember correctly you need to select Score Attack mode in the main menu for your scores to be registered. You may also need to toggle EX ON/OFF, depending on whether or not you played one of the extra stages prior to the final stage, as there are separate leaderboards for that.

Ah right. I’ve just been normal mode and couldn’t work out why the high scores kept resetting.
