Which Japanese PS2 works in the U.S.?

Post by Ramus »

Want to buy a Japanese PS2. Which one will work in the U.S.? I see on Play-Asia that there are two different kinds; one is a PS2 and the other is a PS2 (100-240V). Which one is the one to get?

Thanks for the help. :D

The second one is a Hong Kong PS2, it comes with a different power cord that won't plug into US sockets.

You can just use an American power cord on it though, and it'll work.

Well, both support 100-240 Volt power. Just the plug has a different shape.
