Ah and for the table formatting, I can save you the trouble by using Ghegs's Powershell script to crank out newer format tables in a flash
I had to tweak the script a bit and replace instances of $PSScriptRoot by my hardcoded full file path as a string (maybe it was an issue with JP locale installed?) but otherwise it works like a charm.

For gheg's script did you have to download something to make the file?

The script needs to be run through Powershell, but from what I understand it's installed by default on Windows machines. I didn't have to specifically install it myself.

You'll need to copy the contents of the script (the first code block in Ghegs' post) in a file on your computer with the ".ps1" extension so it can be read by Powershell. And you'll need to copy the old format table contents into a text file. Without modifications, the script assumes this table contents file is named Table.txt
Even the basic Notepad is good enough to create these two files. When saving, choose the "any file" extension type and you can type ".ps1" yourself to manually add the extension since there may not be any specific .ps1 file format save option. And you put the .ps1 script and the .txt file in the same folder.

As for launching Powershell, I think there's two ways to do it : right-click on the .ps1 file and then "Open with Powershell" but if you have an error or something, the terminal window might just close before you get to see what went wrong. Alternatively, you can start Powershell directly (typing "powershell" in the windows search bar should bring it up) but then when inside the terminal, you'll have to navigate to the folder where you put your two files. The "cd" command can make you go to specific folders. And once you're in the right folder, you type the script name and press Enter to launch it.

Some issues I encountered :

-You may have a "scripts cannot be run and have been disabled on this system" error or something like that. What I did was launching Powershell as administrator and then typed a command in it to "unlock" this ability

This answer suggests this command :

I followed another guide and did this instead

set-executionpolicy unrestricted

but it may be less secure or something since it no longer prevents scripts from the internet to be launched or something.

-And if you get the "Cannot process argument because the value of argument 'path' is null." error and it points to the "-Path" (among others), it could be because the $PSScriptRoot doesn't properly return the current folder location as it should. I replaced it with a hardcoded path of the folder where the script is (if you click on the top of the file explorer where it shows the general address of the folder, you can get it there). If you need to implement this fix, put said path with double quotes around it in the script for both instances of $PSScriptRoot.
