I thought I was doing pretty well for the first time I made it to Stage 4, no deaths then the face boss of Stage 4 went all Psikyo bullets on me and sniped me down repeatedly. Even though I didn't die with bombs remaining, I had to use all my stocks to get to Stage 5 then died almost immediately because I had no clue what I was doing. Grouse is rather iffy compared to Widerstand it feels like, those balls don't go as high up the screen and you're relatively slow. ;w;
Also I think there's a typo, EmperorIng's Eagle score should be an ALL clear, not Stage 4?
edit:
Uh, I somehow got the 1cc? First time fighting the final boss, went in with 1L2B, died with 2 bombs in stock, limped my way through, faced down the TLB with 1 bomb remaining, expected to get snipered any time... and somehow I got the clear? >w> I wish I had my recording setup, I was not expecting a 1cc!

Now that I've taken the time to play this, it's much easier than I expected! It's more daunting than GW1 is as the early stages are more intense and aren't pushovers, but a lot of the super scary attacks later on can actually just be tap dodged until your reflect recharges.
Eagle is by far the easiest for survival, its homing missiles are crazy good (especially compared to Isha in the first game). Hawk is OK, it's like Sinnosuke but with more speed which is nice, but I do like more damage. Robin appears to be super strong when you know where enemies will come from but Eagle may beat out its DPS for a new player simply because you can hide in the corner during bosses and still score some hits.
Grouse is awful, among the worst close range shot types I've played due to having no speed to make up for the slow firing, awkward shots. Both Stuck/Widerstand in GW1 and Albatross/Ralugo in GW2 move faster, fire faster, and seem to deal more damage. Stuck's shots also go nearly all the way up the screen whereas Grouse's don't even reach halfway up with them travelling far slower to get there.
Now that I've got a feel for this, I'll have to try my hand at milking the bosses for score!
