@Mills
Now that you've seen 2,2mill, will you try to adapt the strategies and go for the 2mill yourself? Would be awesome to see new scores from you! :)

:P lol! i had known about 2mill plus scores and leeching and lasting the boss out techniques years ago (specifically the train stage) and forum member Landshark, sent me a superplay link back in march. it simply doesn't work on the pcb board i play in london arcades because the enemy fighters and bosses do not behave in the same way as the japanese replay. I even demostrated this to forum member CHI on one occasion of play. The bosses self destruct far too early, and the enemy fighters dont come down as frequently as they do on the replay and if i get over 1.8million score after destroying the final boss, the game removes about 80k off my final score when i edit my name on the scoreboard, WTF is that all about :x .
2.4 million with Zero fighter is replay i wanna see.

This is all completely true. Its odd. Mills even upped the skill level to hardest to try to get the board to spawn more enemies, but no joy.

There is a technique to freeze the stage final bosses but i don't really know the conditions to do that. basically the boss freezes during its first wave of attack and then totally stops firing and moving, but the enemy fighters still come down. it doesn't self destruct either until you destroy it, so you can just leech away and keep racking up the points until your ready to destroy it. Seems to only work on the train stage final boss and the aircraft hanger stage final delta wing boss. Got a 1.9 million doing that which would have been higher if i didn't screw up triggering the bonus train 2nd loop.

Managed to do a 1.8 million but couldn't trigger the train 2nd loop because it was on stage 2-4 which is extremely hard to hover above the tree and then get in position to take out the three enemy delta wing bomber planes. Didn't wanna take a pic of that score unless i trigger the 2nd loop train stage.

Thanks to Limbrooke for reminding me which of my score threads I'd forgotten to update. Kollision's score is now on the board.

Playing this for some weeks now when time allows it.
Making only small progress... game is kicking my ass big time!
But it is fun!

Here my score
Image

525,700 - bob - 1-5 - Bf-109 - Arcade

Normally I get to 1-6 once I manage to beat 1-4. Is it only me, or is 1-5 one of the easier stages?
On the run above I fucked up big time against 1-5 boss because I got a new highscore and was nervous... :?
Amateur error, but I still get nervous when I accomplish something I couldn't before :roll:

Thanks for this! I'm afraid I've fallen behind a bit on updates because of work. It might be a month before things truly calm down, but I haven't forgotten about my high score boards.
