Dream Shmup

I would very much like some kind of remake of Guardian Legend where the overworld is like Metroid Prime and the shmup levels are Ikaruga-ish. Only vertizontal.

I've just dreamed about Guardian Legend (after playing it of course), but the overworld was like Erst Kerf. And i woke up thinking my subconsciousness has good ideas sometimes.
