Heh, I don't even try to do tricks like that. I play it pretty safe the whole way through. I just collect gold at the start of stage 2 and only go into zesshikai at the end.

oxtsu - 56,601,425 - Stage 3 - Asagi

OK, I'm getting pissed at the game now.

Why?

Protip: you might want to switch to Ageha (or Tateha if you prefer), as they're easier to score with, and a bit easier to handle too.

I only had 1 life remaining, around half my barrier and a couple hundred ingots. I think I had about 416 million before the bonus was added.

I could probably beat the game with 3 lives left if I could eliminate all stupid deaths. One to avoid ultra Seseri (what's she called again?), and two more to clear the rest of the game.

This is indeed my problem.
ultra Seseri (what's she called again?),
Shin Seseri (True Seseri) by fans, but officially "Ikari ni Michita Seseri (Seseri Full of Anger).

I wouldn't mind popping this out again, but playing Ketsui recently destroyed my Mushi Futari play. Even though I won't own the PCB for a while, I need to stick to one.

Wow, this game is worth every penny paid.

Wanderer - 50880888 - Stage 3 - Ageha

Why did anyone recommend this game to me before? (wink to GaijinPunch and Twe)

Yep. And speaking of pennies, I'll give you 10 if you use commas next time. ;)

I'm sure we both did at some point, no? Anyways, great to see you're liking it.

Oh man, I just got 463 million, but I couldn't pull off the clear. I just needed one more life to finish off that last form. I probably lost over 40 million points on the last stage too. It was pretty messy.

I could probably clear this with 520 million before the bonus if I could just stop sucking ass.

MrMonkeyMan - 545,227,842 - ALL - Ageha - Proof

I recorded this one, so I might encode it, but I know I can do better than this.

Awesome score, I'm light years away..

I would love to see your replay if you decide to encode it.

Wanderer -- 84,433,4244 -- Stage 5 -- Ageha

Third stage boss final pattern still giving me trouble.
Four stage boss still intimidating and nerve racking.

Hopefully I'll join the 100 million club in a week or so.

My other goal is to keep up with oxtsu (haha probably won't happen)

Just stay on the far right side of the screen at the start of the last pattern and if it gets too tight tap your barrier once. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it!

There's a safe spot for his first form.

Hey thanks Wanderer, you're doing great. I wish we could do a little more jousting, but I have to return this board to the original owner in a few days. That last score of mine might be the last for awhile.

Here, have the video.

Please don't mention that last attack on Seseri. I'm still scratching my head over what I was thinking when I did that. Everything about it is wrong.

It took me about a month. Looking back on this thread, I posted a clear score on 12/22. That means it took me a bit under a month. Mind you, there were only a couple of videos out on the net then, so coming up w/ useful patterns late in the game was a challenge. I guess it had more of an impact on score, rather than the clear.

It's definitely not an easy clear. It will take some work.

Got to the 2nd mid boss in stage 6 yesterday but with a lower score :( tried to play it today and kept dying on stage 1 :x almost launched it out the window .. think ill give it a rest for a couple of days ..

Quick question for monkey man if you dont mind , what RGB capture card are you using as i wouldnt mind one ?

Thanks
