I don't get what exactly you mean. If you've reached the giant Ms. Gara, i assume you're reached 5-2 (alice clones, then the giant head, etc). If so, that's it, so keep try hard and the reward will be yours  !

I just noticed a lot of people putting "stage 6" in their scores. I take it they're just calling stage 5-2 as "6." *Wipes sweat from his brow* At least now I know there's nothing after Ms. Gara.

Kinda weak I know, but I'm just getting started on this game, hopefully I stick with it.

Lashujin - 4,805,710 - Stage 4 - JB5th

The difficulty really seems to ramp up on stage 4

I can't believe it. I lost one life at stage 1 and another at stage 2. And what happens? I end up beating my highscore AND got to the last boss for the first time. Great I suppose... however I can't help thinking, what if I hadn't done those crazy mistakes...

And another small improvment.

Zayon - 10,590,370 - Yusuke - Stage 6

Managed to beat the game on the first life of my third credit. Getting there, hehehe.

WarpZone - 9'445'090 - 6 - JB the 5th

One credit gets me to the last boss...now what, 2 or 3 to beat it? I can't even see paths through some of the patterns. :)

I hear you, I also get to the last boss on a good run, but I can't really see myself beating the game on one credit anytime soon. When I get to the second last or last boss I usually continue to get some practice and so far I managed to beat it on my third credit. Still a long way to go.

I've not been playing this for a while. I only got to stage 6 once on one credit... I think I could tighten up if I spent a week on it, but am really getting kicks out of Guwange. Anyways, I think only the first pattern of the last boss is the really challenging one. If you go from the middle of the screen to the right and back, it's a bit more doable. The pink bubbles shit is a bit tricky, but doable when you learn the pattern, and of course, the last part you just do the circles.

Clover-TAC has an interesting approach when it comes to the bullet patterns in ESPra.de superplay video, and I'm going to try that when I get around to playing it some more.

Thanks, man. It's taken me a long while to 1CC ESP Ra.De. (Nearly 2 years. No, seriously.)

I've got a long way to go to really consider myself a "shmupper". The guides in the Strategy forum really helps a lot for certain games that I want to play. :)

Just started playing this the other day. This game is cool. I see where a lot of Progear's bullet patterns came from now. I'm still figuring out how to use the shield/bomb thing properly. Is there some way to exploit it in conjunction with the multiplier system, or is this a typical "Scoring? Bomb? DOESNOTCOMPUTE" Cave game?

P.S. Irori made me pedo :(

No, basically you should skip bombing until the sequence with the giant turtles before the final boss. There, you can bomb and quickly replenish the bomb to raise the cubes value to 500, for EOG (End Of Game) purposes...in short, bomb if you need to, but try to avoid it for scoring purposes.

Just wondering, does anyone know what the difference between the two builds of Esprade (dated 4/14 and 4/21 on the copyright screen) is? They came out only a week apart--did the original version have some kind of major bug in it?

I don't really know, perhaps the latter is the international version? There is one bug that quickly maxes out the score (whose nature escapes me right now...), but i don't know much, sorry :?

Improved my score, but I m still not that good with the scoring system.

Here it is:

7'698'560 / JB the 5th / Stage 5

Sometimes I hate the Cave Games for their scoring elitism. :(
