What shmup is the closest to Project X Zone?
The one shmup that comes the closest is probably Dariusburst: Chronicle Saviours to me.

Project X on the Amiga has an almost identical title, but otherwise its deffo DB:CS with R-Type Final and Parodius series as runner ups.
