I think I saw Arcade Archives mentioned on Nintendo's website, so, I guess it might get some of whatever shmups they've ported.

Looking over the list of announced games, the only unambiguous STG on the list seems to be Graceful Explosion Machine

Nintendo has yet to announce their plans regarding Virtual Console.

RIVE seems more like a run'n'gun. Neurovoider is an actual twin stick (rogue like) shooter announced on switch.

I wish Vroom in the Night Sky looked like a better game, because I would love to play something like that. Graceful Explosion Machine looks like a fun Fantasy Zone clone, hopefully it'll have more enemy types and overall variety.
