It's a shame nobody is updating this thread, especially now I'm second in the normal category :(

I am having an hard time to check all the scores I have updated. Would you please point out if I haven't posted up yours, lately? Cheers.
Chomsky, Buckminster Fuller, Yunus and Glass would have played Battle Garegga, for sure.

Just to torment Rando.. ;)

Normal - Saturn

Kiken - 4,283,180 - All - Beltiana (Type B)
It was a No Miss run. I did actually record another No Miss run (right-click and save.. it's about 124 MB), but the score was about 120,000 less.

Thanks for sharing. I've been meaning to get a look at a good clear run in the normal game for a long time.
EDIT: Recorded in TATE too, I shouldn't be surprised. I find this game to be brutal if not in TATE mode.

You are developing very well! I'm playing Batsugun again since a few weeks, the first time on an arcade-size RGB monitor. Brilliant game, brilliant presentation. Definitely one of my favourite Danmaku-shooters and that includes Cave stuff as well.

My score is about 30m, I currently try to reach 40 (would just need to score-trick loop 2 I guess).

thanks ! i was burnt out on dodonpachi so this games fast pace is the perfect antidote. i've got 2 ways to increase my score from here.. i can either learn the stage 4 trick which i'm not having much luck with or try to reach stage 12 round tanks..neither is going to be easy especially with those scary 3rd loop suicide bullets .
if i had access to the internet apart from work(where videos and downloading are blocked) i could look at some vids to help with the stage 4 technique but at the moment i can't do it without being killed

how do you destroy the back cannons first before the lazers?i always kill the lazers first and there's no way i can dodge the twirly things, blue balls, tank fire and teh centers shots all at once :x

Wait untill the circle turret has fired 2 rounds, then go up behind the lasers. There's a safe spot if you set up your ship slightly towards the leftern of the two turrets on the left, but still stay in the middle of them.
After you killed them, do the same inversed on the other two. Then go back to the middle (right on the circle turret) and try to go up when the turret stops firing in order to destroy the last central thing.

After that, you can start killing the two huge lasers. In fact, there are safe spots for all positions you have to occupy during the Jupiter-fight, but it's a little hard to explain. There are good videos on niconico though.

This is a great game and I beat the special version first loop a while back on MAME. Since the MAME version seems to be quite buggy (Graphics glitches and lack of most sound) I've been meaning to ask is it gameplaywise bug free on MAME or do the glitches affect the actual game mechanics as well?

I can't really get myself to try making any actual scoring runs before I can be sure of stuff like this.
