The Dallas and Arizona crews can say whatever they want, but Japanese QAnon is the best QAnon.

Finally, someone is getting the word out that the emperor is an Alpha Draconis reptilian trying to suppress the truth of the Japanese people's descent from the KamiRyujin divine cosmic star dragon. The Trump White Hat Dream Team is about to blow the lid off this whole thing!

Vanguard wrote:The USA absolutely did destroy the Russian pipeline and anyone who seriously believes it was a false flag attack the Russians made against themselves is an NPC. I don't like saying stuff like that, but in this case it's simply the truth. The fact that a bunch of white house spooks got together to claim that journalist Seymour Hersh's explanation of what happened "has all the earmarks of Russian disinformation" is enough to tell me that his explanation is dead on accurate. Article here for anyone interested.
So...that's a really detailed report from a respected Pulitzer winning journalist which has way too many words for Russian disinformation (the more details you add, the more opportunities for someone to debunk one of them and blunt the impact of the whole thing). But the thing that sticks with me are these lines:
Everyone involved understood the stakes. “This is not kiddie stuff,” the source said. If the attack were traceable to the United States, “It’s an act of war.”
Throughout “all of this scheming,” the source said, “some working guys in the CIA and the State Department were saying, ‘Don’t do this. It’s stupid and will be a political nightmare if it comes out.’”
I know there was potentially a fuckton of money and geopolitical negotiating power at stake, but why would you do something that utterly reckless against a belligerent nuclear power? Especially when you'd already shuttered the pipeline? This isn't paying off Guatemalan civilian militias to attack Honduras. This would have been fucking with wealthy central European economies who were already deeply skeptical of US political reliability, and risking making Russia look sympathetic at a time of growing global authoritarianism.

It's always been a rigged metric due to that filtering question. By definition it's just a dumb number that wavers up and down a little, that can really never go over around 12%. So naturally the absolute worst the number can get isn't 100% - it physically can never get close to that even in theory. The worst is 0%, when everyone's given up on jobs and is foraging trash cans and the wilderness for subsistence. 3.5% historically would probably be the start of an era of revolution, if not for the partial safety net the communists managed to win for us in the past...

Its highpoint is probably when Trump dismissed it as meaning anything during a debate, when the blue capitalist tried to use it to make Obama look better. As soon as the words came out of his mouth I nodded to myself and thought "he's going to be using this number to try to make himself look good the moment he becomes president" and to no one's surprise, he absolutely did. It always astonishes me how absolutely stupid humans have to be to swallow this horseshit. (We supposedly had to be more intelligent than elephants and giraffes to survive this long, but elephants wouldn't be this stupid. I think without some of that evolutionary pressure we've back-slided more than a little... Idiocracy maybe had a point.)

... anyway. The objective number that means anything is called the participation rate. Simply the number of adults that have a job. Aka, an estimate of the real employment rate. It hovers just over 60% these days. Its peak during our lifetimes was around 67% during the late 90's to around 2000. So it's down 10% from then.

Yet another of the Clinton's contacts has "killed himself," this time by hanging himself with an electric cord and shooting himself without leaving a gun anywhere nearby. I guess it happened a while ago but the courts have only just now revealed the suicide method. Bill and Hillary should really hire an exorcist or something, I don't know anyone else who has had that many suicides among their friends and coworkers.

~1 in 10,000 of the population any given year. I've mentioned before my ex's brother and step brother both chose to walk through that door. Anyone with a decently sized social circle knows someone who knows someone. Thousands of aides living dozens of years makes it an inevitability for a pile to pile up.

Globalist always means Jewish. If they were the good guys they'd be saying "capitalist" instead : (

I literally never heard the word used before by humans before Steve and what's his face, Alex, made it up. "Globalism" was rarely used, but like by policy nerds in their power point presentations or pro-capitalist propaganda that only freakish weirdos like me ever listened to.

The slur rotation is a fun merry-go-round. I wonder with baited breath what will come after "globalist" once it loses its impact. It's like a TV show when one reoccurring villain gets old and they have to get in someone new to ratchet the tension back up.

... except in this case it's the same exact villain but with a different label pasted on its forehead. The symbol-minded are easily pleased, aren't they : /

"Globalist" is a negative way of saying "capitalist" for those unwilling to own up to capitalism's many failings. Trump loves Israel.

The Week has an article reminding us of the domestic terrorism we have to look forward to once the temperature rises.

This talk about how it is actually possible to knock out power nationwide for over a year seems pretty exciting. If you thought 2020 was bad, well, there's always more and it's always worse.

I'm sure I've said this before, but I'm still thinking hard about just building an offline underground bunker in northern Saskatchewan with a pile of Saturn & PC Engine games and waiting the next two stupid decades of social and ethical collapse out.

Technically that's hella illegal even in shitholes like Oklahoma. You have to give them a notarized eviction notice, then get (pay for) a court order and a cop to get'em out. There is some semblance of legal protection from a land lord just taking all your shit. It can take almost an entire month, but that's why there's a deposit of a month's worth of rent, right?

The only time immediate expulsion is legal, is if the tenets are performing illegal activity. Wrecking the place, if cops are already there, etc.

Do note this is one of those states that you can evict or refuse to rent to someone for any reason, and you can say that reason straight to their face. You don't have to make up a pretense like in some other soy-brain states. Wrong race/religion, wrong opinions about Star Wars/Harry Potter, it's a crazy pants-on-head magical kind of place.

Welp, we're here boys, we've officially hit Blade Runner:

The Alarming Rise of India's Pay-to-Breathe Industry
India’s air pollution is a rolling disaster that shows no sign of slowing down. A 2022 report by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air think tank found that “almost the entire population of India” is exposed to air pollution above the guidelines set by the World Health Organization. In 2019, air pollution killed an estimated 1.6 million Indians.

As attempts to fix the problem at the source fail, a new kind of inequality is taking hold in Indian cities. Facing potentially deadly air quality outside, wealthier Indians are paying to breathe free, creating a booming market for air purifiers that is forecast to grow 35 percent to $597 million by 2027. But in a country already economically divided along caste, gender, and religious lines, where 63 percent of people pay for health care out-of-pocket and the top 10 percent of the population hold 77 percent of the wealth, paying for breathable air isn’t an option for most.

Richard Wolff was hella wrong about the outcome of this war, but in his defense none of us thought the Russian high command subscribed to literally Zapp Brannigan's strategy.

It was a good effort, but I'd like to see the floor really aim for the stars next time. If it had extended some venomous spikes, or collapsed so it could do a combo attack with the floor below, that would have been an A+ performance.
