For those who don't know, Sky Force is shmup Symbian game. I played this on my Nokia 3210 and it looks amazing for mobile quality.
And then I downloaded the 2014 version, played in 1-2 stages, IMO it looks repetitive and boring.
Haven't played Anniversary yet, I looked on Steam and it cost $10.
Is it same as 2014 ver? or is it worth it for 10 bucks?
Is Sky Force 2014/Anniversary worth it?

Hello.
SkyFrce Aniversary edition is the same as SkyForce 2014, however you dont have to do all the grinding you had to in the latter. Gaining experience is faster, getting new weapons and upgrades is EVEN FASTER, graphics are pretty good etc.
Maybe its not worth 10 bux for you, but you should give it a try if you find a sale or something.
I have it on my iDevice and it was a grind fest (it can get on your nerves because of the very slow leveling up), but then, i tried this one and it was enjoyable. Lemme put it this way: i made it to the level 9 in on full afternoon (say, like 4-5 play hours). Thats simply impossible on the smartphone version.
Give it a try.
