Holy shit, are these region locked or downloadable from a non jp 360? Maybe now I can finally play MMP without spending 80 dollars on the import!

They're download region locked, you'll need a VPN. Not sure if the actual games are region-locked.

VPN on a 360? How does that work exactly?

Interesting. I'm not expecting any sort of official release outside of Japan, but maybe we'll get lucky with another Deathsmiles IIX situation or something.

What are the price points?

We're probably going to need a guide for the technically-impaired to get these downloaded and playable on a NA 360.

Is it the original Mushi or Futari? I hope they add Ketsui eventually too. I really don't want to buy a PS3 just for one game.

I didn't pay anywhere near that for the MMP/PS region-free release ...

I bought a copy of the first print edition of MMP/PS sealed off of US Amazon for $30, and that was long after the cave's best reprint came out. I wonder what caused the sudden price spike...

I think XBL games are region-locked.

Even if they aren't you'd still need a japanese account, and a JPN points card.

When it comes to Games On Demand, I'm pretty sure that the downloadable game has the exact same region encoding as the physical disc release.

Deathsmiles II may indicate differently. If someone's got some cash they're willing to gamble it'd be cool to find out.

So, I'm guessing you can't just make a Japanese Xbox live account using a fake address and buy a points card off play-Asia? :| I wanted to get Mushi since it's locked. If you are able to download can it then be played offline on a NA 360?

The Yagawa hype that you mention in every post must have increased the demand.

In regards to the money they accrue for the xbox live cash in....
I somehow wish I still live(d) in Japan and could act loko/loked-out and shit like yanki power/wannabee yakuza but they think I'm yakuza white gaijin mf'er 4444 reeeaaaallllll. as. shit..... and make these fuckers not make another phone/iphone/samsung 3gs game. and produce pcb only........... Not that I think this is a way to get what I want or solve problems, but I'm still concerned over Itami Juzo's death and think that if I were in Japan, maybe I, yes, I, have the power to sway Cave into doing what is right.....

So according to a user on Twitter, there is no ip lock. Guess that's nice, but i assume you still need a j360.

It will be nice if these eventually make it to the NA Games on Demand. It's doubtful, but I guess I am hopeful regardless.

Yes indeed if Cave releases all or many of their library for NA console I would eat it all up. Could help their sales a bit too...

If I didn't already have them all on disc, I would totally risk it and test the waters here. Anyone going to give this a shot?

A bit off-topic, but how does Mushihimesama 1 compare to Futari?

Since nobody's listed the prices, I looked them all up on the web interface:

Mushi HD: 2700 yen
Mushi Futari: 2675 yen
Akai Katana: 2700 yen
MMP & PS: 2700 yen
DDP DFK 1.5: 2700 yen
DDP DFK BL: 1944 yen
DDP SDOJ: 2700 yen

DFK BL is the GoD version of the BL disc release, not the DLC (which is a little cheaper).

Is there any chance Mushi HD would be playable on a PAL console?

The Matsuri 1.5 of Mushihime-Sama isn't included, right? Is a nice way of getting DFK BL Arrange though.

Mushihimesama 1.5 was a DLC code included with the first print run. Pretty much no chance that'll be there.
