Yes, we arrived on Thursday evening (departed London in the morning). We leave Rennes on the following Monday.

If anything, I'd suggest you stay in London on the Wednesday, to completely remove the possibility of there being no trains on time on Thursday morning. I may be staying in London on Wed, if CHI can confirm he's going to be around at the time.

what his plans are, as we split a room with Smraedis last year, but even though .SM isn't coming this year, it'd be cool to split a room again, as the Kyriad was quite a nice place and at a good price.

I've got a funny feeling this year could be a small group from London

I think we should enforce this as the longer we leave it to make arrangements, the more expensive it gets. I don't think it's particularly fair on the rest of us to pay more than expected because one or two stragglers hold up the completion of the arrangements for the rest.

I'm looking to book the hotel at the very least within the next week or two. Anyone want to split a room? I'll likely get a room at the Kyriad again ( hopefully the one with two balconies :> ) if another two want to split. I'll hold one space for spadgy until then, but if anything it'll be first come first served. nuskool? JWS? Blinge? Eaglet? Anyone up for a share?

Hey guys,

gotta let you know as we are now sure,
we are cancelling the project of inviting Japanese guests to Stunfest this time around.
The main reason other than the various little things that can make it hard to make it work, is that this time the dates of Stunfest do not coincide with the Golden Week holiday in Japan and pretty much everyone is refusing invitations because they cannot leave work.

I wanted to let you know this asap, though I hope that you will still come to Stunfest, there will of course still be shmupping all around, just no Japanese guests!

Yeah, I had already suspected there may be challenges organising it this time around from when I was taking to Keiko last November about it and other similar events.
We're coming anyway, so hopefully we'll see you there. :3
