I can be wrong but Revolver360 is already listed for ps4 and PC in some websites like IGN. But it can mean nothing at all.

Did you guys tried to contact CAVE to release their games on steam ? I'm sure that would not be easy but if there is a company able to do it, it would be definetly Degica.

Alright! Looks like the upload worked itself out. The Unlimited mode replay is restored, and should hopefully be working properly for everyone now. In case you missed it the first time, this replay features Yotsubane playing Unlimited mode with Type I, and getting a very high score according to the current Steam standings.

That replay is amazing. Thanks for sharing it with us Blackbird. I think CC is the new reference for bullet hell shooters with Mushihimesama futari regarding difficulty :p

Also, for the ones who want to watch more replays from Yotsubane ( Alias Clover-TAC ), he did 2 amazing runs during the stunfest 2013 of Dodonpachi Saidaioujou.

Sorry for this n00b question, but how do you download videos from YouTube? I found sites like KeepVid, but they want to execute a Java applet on my computer, so I don't know whether this is trustworthy.

Crimzon Clover is coming to GOG at some point. Unfortunately I don't have a release date yet.

Even though I own the Steam version I will buy it on gog as well to promote DRM free. I think I have bought astebreed 4 times One is physical at least

They are not actually Yotsubane's replays, and they were not intended to be released publicly. I am sorry about the mixup and I hope you got to enjoy them in the short duration they were up. My guess is more like as they were not amazing performances (aka Japanese superplayer standards), especially the Original mode, they did not want to feel ashamed about it. Typical mentality from Japanese people, it has to be perfect or nothing (and both were not 1ALL)

But still I downloaded them and enjoyed it anyway.

Looking forward for some official brutal 1CC replay, even thou I'm in Japan right now and able to see some of them live from my own eyes

Very very impressive i must say, also saw Thikuro with a 7++ billions on Unlimited Type 1.

So far I've seen more run on Original and Unlimited than Boost. Seems to be a little too brutal, even for japanese

To make us feel good, I also saw some very bad bad bad players, so they are human after all

A bit of topic, but saw again SWY on Saidaioujou Expert trying to over flow the game at stage 3. That man is brutal, by far the best payer I've ever seen, beyond all the best (Tac, Iso etc...) Incredible to watch live.

In general, in all the main arcade I've been, shmups are not being played much compared to the huge domination of fighting games. Exception is HEY! where a full floor is having a dedicated shmup gigantic area.

I must say CCWI is having a decent attention from the players, and yes, all those big players on it are perfect strangers to us western. But some of those are also very decent players in games like Ketsui/futari....

In general I found that older shmup 80-90-00 are a lot more successful than the newer ones. Gradius/parodius/DDP are constantly played. Ikaruga/battle garrega too. Classics I would say. Cave games are also hugely popular, psikyo/raizing: not so much.

3D shmups are almost not played at all.
