And here's mine.

Odd experiment, I tried type B on a whim and did better than my longstanding type A score. Dunno if I'm on to something or if that was just a fluke.

Because I didn't have a score to submit for normal :)

They were seperate in the old forum, I figured someone would eventually start a topic for the real game.

Aw ass. Died with like 1 centimeter of the dual hibachi heads life left. Used A-shotia. I'll submit a score once I get loop 1. Death Label is silly.

JTW--Stage 2-1--A-shotia--561,882,410--Max Hit 18

So yeah, bombs don't do anything on loop 2. But ya get to see the guy from the end of dodonpachi when ya beat the first loop! :D

I think about i being able to reach the 2 loop, if i don't do all the error that i have committed in the precedent play in the 4° stage.

But after this i think i would not to be able to continue anymore.

But i must get a score over 1.000.000.000++!

Do the bosses do anything different on the 2nd loop?

Or is it like choosing the laser-ship where the bomb heals the damned boss (terrible).

Well I only got about 3/4 of the way through the 2-1 boss before I made a dumb mistake, but from what I saw, he was doing the exact same thing as loop 1. But this time, bombs were only good for screen-clearing and didn't do any damage. I don't think it healed him, but I used shotia, so the other types might :? .

If the attacks are different than loop 1, its not enough so that you'd really notice.

I'd really like to see if there are 3 or 4 hibachi heads as the final boss of loop 2. That would be eeevviill!

Not sure if this is still updated but I just received my copy a few days ago(yeah I'm a few years slow...) and thought I'd throw out my score.

Shalashaska - 932,904,960 - A-E - 5 - 19

I can do pretty well up until the 4th boss and things just fall apart from there. I really wish the Laser doll's (her name escapes me) bombs didn't heal the bosses.

maco – 1,183,243,640 - B-E - 5 – 113

Should have been higher than that, but for a bullet on the last bit of life of the fourth boss generating some kind of magnetic field that made me fly into it.

Damn that Hibachi. :x I can make it to him with 3-4 lives but he just straight slaughters me. I'll never see the 2nd loop.

Edit: Snipped the screen

Ugh, slow but steady progress. I can do well fairly consistently now but Hibachi still destroys me.:x

LOLWTF check out that hit count, how did that happen?
I think I did the worst I’ve ever done on the stage 5 boss, I only just got to the twin Hibachi’s.

Wow nice score Maco. So you no missed/no bombed all the way to Hibachi? Do you have any tips, tricks, or pointers for the 2nd and 3rd bosses?

The stage 2 boss is the one that gives me the most trouble and usually makes or breaks my run. I can usually make it to his 2nd form but I have to use 2 bombs to kill him as I just can't dodge any of those patterns.

Sidenote: sometimes when this boss changes forms your hyper or laser continues to do damage while he's changing and usually momentarily invincible. Does anybody know how to trigger this or is it a random bug? I ask because when this happens it's very easy to kill the boss before he even gets a shot off after changing.

I can usually no miss the 3rd boss but end up using one bomb on his final pattern. The only part that gives me great trouble is his second pattern (the one where he spins those 'columns' of bullets at you). Sometimes there are wide and obvious lanes to go through, other times there are no lanes and you have to graze between two bullets. :?

The 4th boss is just a tad harder than the 1st boss in my opinion, and I can usually no miss/no bomb him.

Hibachi, in all his forms, usually destroys me. :x

I haven't played Death Label for a few weeks now but I might start up again. I'd like to hear your strategy for the 2nd and 3rd boss though if you dont mind sharing.

Thanks, and yes it’s no miss/ no bomb to Hibachi.

Have you seen the video you can download here: http://www.arika.co.jp/movie.htm
My strats are mostly the same, except for the third boss where I use a Hyper from beginning to end.

I’ve never seen that bug or what appears to be one on the stage 2 boss, so no idea how to create it or if it is random.

Where are you using your Hyper on the stage 4 boss?
I was thinking it should be possible to do the Hyper strat used on the DVD replay for the 1-4 boss. 10,000+ Hits should be possible then and quite a few extra points.

Not sure about the video and I can't really check right now because I'm on dial-up connected at 21.6 Kpbs. I have seen one of somebody going all the way through the first loop of Death Label though so it's probably the same.

I also use the hypers from the very start on the 3rd boss but usually end up using one bomb to finish him off. I have a habit of getting excited when I'm doing well and then running into stuff. :D I'm very inconsistent at dodging his first forms second pattern though, which is the one that gives me the most trouble.

If you grab the hypers as soon as possible on the 4th boss and then rush back down to the bottom of the screen (getting there before or just as the warning screen comes up), the boss starts out throwing his blue shots to the sides then brings them toward you, giving you a few extra seconds of breathing time.

I usually move towards him with my laser and wait until he starts throwing the shots to the middle before I activate my hypers. Then I point blank him until his second pattern and dodge everything else until he's dead. My lack of skills don't allow me to milk him so I usually end up with only 5800-6100 or so hits.

Does anybody know if Exy's laser bomb heals or hurts Hibachi's first and second form? I would assume since they heal the 4th boss that they heal the 5th boss but I would like to know for sure.
