Hi friends, if anyone can spare a little bit time i need your thoughts about the purchase i'm going to make.
After reading about how to fix shaky sync signal of xrgb2+, i bought extron rgb 203xi and bnc cable from ebay and unfortunately i found that it does not help fixing shaky sync. Now i'm considering purchasing gefen vga to dvi scaler hoping it will fix it, also i have read many good things about how good it scales the picture with minimum lag.
I cannot find anyone who tried gefen scaler with xrgb2+, someone over neo-geo forums experienced it with xrgb2 and others i found tried it with xrgb3. Has anyone ever tried it with xrgb2+? , do you know if it is going to work? I am testing it with double monitors connected to extron rgb interface, some 17 inch phillips lcd and some old 15 inch crt monitors. its much less on crt but its still there.
Soon i will buy new 32 inch lcd for retro gaming and planning to use gefen scaler with dvi to hdmi cable. Thanks for reading, i appreciate your help.
