Nice to finally have an excuse to try this one out. Still not completely used to the ship's hitbox yet.

Also wow stage 4 is a mess.

After a fair bit of theoretical experimentation and reverse engineering, I shat out this run in a couple tries. I really like the bonus items mechanic ;)

There's a stage 7 score on the dynamic leaderboard (chum's from above, I presume). I thought we were playing with the stage DIP at default so it's the 6 stage version? (Perhaps I've misunderstood what the 'Final Round Continuation' setting is, and having it set to 6 still lets you play 7 stages?).

Round 6 continuation means if you continue while you're on stage 7, you get booted back to stage 6.

When you learn the scoring tricks (if they're not well-known by the end of the week, I'll post about them; just figured most of it out within the past few hours), it's even more impressive and intriguing. Very interesting game, and surprisingly complex for 1987.
