XRGB Mini Frameister to HD PVR 2 capture problems

Wondering if anyone can help, I tried capturing some footage through my hd pvr 2 capture device and as you can see in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RY8sxFT ... e=youtu.be something isn't working properly. The first thing I tried was to disable the auto scan which actually allowed that to be taken. With auto on it hardly works at all. Similar problem when testing with MD although I got a stable picture which seemed to have some less severe, but still very noticeable, scan issues. I've tried fiddling about with the scan settings and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

If neither the v-sync lock (auto -> off) nor the color space setting (forced RGB) helps, then you're out of luck. Back when I wrote my Mini review, I wasn't able to capture from the Mini due to sync issues. Some Avermedia users had more luck in the meantime, but it's possible that the Hauppauge units are still too picky.

what is the setup? console directly to framemesiter? or is there anythin inbetween?

Back when I wrote my Mini review, I wasn't able to capture from the Mini due to sync issues. Some Avermedia users had more luck in the meantime, but it's possible that the Hauppauge units are still too picky.

I use an HDPVR2 nad it works fine.

Console-xrgb-hd pvr2. The problem seems to be almost non existant if the pc is off and is at its worst when you actually start the capture software which is odd. Tried it with a wii u and works completely fine. Could it be something to do with a setting the software? Im using the standard one yo get with the device

I have never personally tried capturing from my MINI, and I don't know whether or not this is possible, but could you try another software application like AMARECTV?

I can ensure you, it is possible, I do it weekly.

Gave a different capture software a try and identical problem. Looks like I'm going to have to chuck it on ebay then (the capture card that is, not the xrgb!)
