The Cave trinity is now comeplete!
I finally got in ESPGaluda, thanks to Randorama from the boards, and the circle is now comeplete. I now have Dodonpachi Dia Ou Jou, Mishi, and now ESPGaluda. It's so good to have all the Cave shooters that came out for the PS2 so far. I feel a sense that my life is now comeplete and I can go on with life......or it could be gas. I'm not sure.

Now you need to pick up Donpachi and DoDoPachi for PS1! They're excellent ports and a must if you like the PS2 ports.Jedah Doma wrote:I finally got in ESPGaluda, thanks to Randorama from the boards, and the circle is now comeplete. Well, I've got the Saturn import versions of the games and really enjoy them. I always have noticed that the Saturn handles 2-D better, and most every game I've compared (that's 2-D) has ran better, with more animation, and generally smoother on the Saturn.ResOGlas wrote:Now you need to pick up Donpachi and DoDoPachi for PS1! Now, are the PS1 versions of Donpachi and Dodonpachi an exception to the rule? Are they better ports then the Saturn versions? If so, I better pick these up pronto.

I haven't played the PS1 ports of either game, but according to many they are better than the Saturn versions. DDP is supposedly only marginally better (the Saturn version is still considered a good port, plus the PS1 version has a few minor annoyances that the Saturn one doesn't), and is also nearly twice as expensive; DP, on the other hand, got a pretty shoddy port on the Saturn, the PS1 port is supposed to be much better.Jedah Doma wrote:Now, are the PS1 versions of Donpachi and Dodonpachi an exception to the rule?
