Shmup at the 1up Barcade in Denver

Finally got around to putting in a dedicated vertical cabinet for shmups at the 1up.
The first game I decided to put in the is 19XX. Once the slows down, ill switch the board/marquee to something else.

The game is located in the back. We currently have over 50 vids and over 18 pinball games.

Cool! I ended up getting the flu saturday night and was out for almost a week. So I missed Sunday Kong Off

Tell me what you guys think of the game. I put new sticks and the 25" monitor is massive.

Nice to see! I frequent the 1up quite often and always hoped for some shmups there. 19xx isn't a bad choice at all either, probably my favorite from that series. Will have to check it out when I get the chance.

The only shmups at the Barcade here are Centipede, Galaga, and Satan's Hollow. All three are fantastic, but man oh man would I love to have some later 80s/early 90s goodness in there, too.

We have Galaga / Millipede and Satans Hollow at the 1up.
I dont quite consider those shmups, but they are fun to play.

Im hoping to have a permanent shmup in each location.
We have a 1943 at the 1up Colfax (aka 2up)

update:

the game has been doing very well at the 1up. One of higher earning "older" games.

I'll have to pay a visit to the 1up sometime. I live about an hour north, so why the heck not?

Wonder if it'd be possible to get a more challenging shmup there this year (I know you had Space Invaders the last time, but a bullet hell-type).

The 2up is now called "1up Colfax". Yes, its both us.

1up Colfax has 1943

once 19xx slows down, ill be throwing in another game. but it will be a few months before I do.
